THS-Seq
Transposome hypersensitive sites sequencing assay for highly sensitive characterization of chromatin accessibility (THS-seq). This variation on ATAC-Seq uses linear amplification of accessible DNA ends, in vitro transcription and an engineered Tn5 super-mutant.
Pros:
- Requires very little input materials
- Can detect small regions near distal enhancers
Cons:
- Requires an engineered transposase
