A fully automated process ensures positive sample tracking throughout the process from sample preparation to cluster generation. Every task is fully integrated with a custom laboratory information management system (LIMS) to track samples from beginning to end and alert the lab when a new task is available.
To ensure that results are comparable from batch to batch, lab staff routinely calibrate the system using standard controls.
All sample libraries are verified in a two-step process. We use qPCR for quantification and electrophoresis separation for fragment size detection. All processes are performed using lab automation and a laboratory information management system (LIMS). Through LIMS, lab staff can pass successful samples and alert project management about any failures that need reprocessing.
Once sample libraries are verified and have passed QC checks, they are clustered using automation and our proven cluster generation technology. We automate clonal cluster generation to deliver high-quality data for sequencing.

Sequencing Quality Control
Lab staff monitor each sequencing run to ensure the successful data generation. Underperforming sequencing runs are automatically queued for rework and notification is sent to the project management team.

Final Sequencing Quality Control
If outlier samples that do not reach the required coverage are identified, our scientists and project managers conduct an investigation to determine the root cause and take action.
