TruSeq Custom Amplicon Low Input
TruSeq Custom Amplicon Low Input is a fully customizable multiplexed amplicon assay with up to 1536 targets. This assay is recommended for low input and/or FFPE applications. For FFPE application it is suggested that a project be designed with 150 bp or 175 bp amplicons since FFPE DNA is very degraded. TruSeq Custom Amplicon Low Input cannot be used with applications requiring 425 bp amplicons.

To generate a custom amplicon panel:
- Go to the TruSeq Custom Amplicon Low Input Custom Products webpage, select the DesignStudio link.
- Begin to design the probes for the desired targeted regions.
- Order the design. All designs include the probes and reagents for 96 reactions.
- Order an index kit part number FC-130-1003 (96 indices, 384 samples). This kit is required when using the TruSeq Custom Amplicon Low Input option.
