The RatRef-12 Expression BeadChip for genome-wide expression analysis contains 21,910 probes selected primarily from the NCBI RefSeq database (Release 16). Each BeadChip is capable of querying 12 samples in parallel and is scanned on the BeadArray Reader or iScan.
The probe content sources include the National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) Reference Sequence Database (Releases 16 NM, 16 XM, and 16XR), and UniGene.
